Terms of Service

1. The Service

OFFIX is a service that transforms voice recordings into professional quotes and invoices using artificial intelligence (AI). The service is provided via an iOS app and a web portal.

2. Plans and Pricing

• Free: 3 quotes per day, local storage
• Pro (€29/month): Unlimited, cloud sync, web portal, PDF customization

Prices may change with 30 days' notice.

3. Payment and Subscription

• iOS: Payment via Apple In-App Purchase. Apple's terms apply.
• Portal: Payment via Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel at any time.
• Right of withdrawal: 14 days according to EU consumer protection laws.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Notify us immediately in case of unauthorized access.

5. ⚠️ AI Disclaimer

OFFIX uses AI to generate quotes and invoices. AI can make mistakes.

• Prices, items, and amounts generated by AI may be incorrect
• You must review all quotes and invoices before sending them
• OFFIX provides no legal, tax, or financial advice
• Tax deduction calculations are for guidance only — always verify against your local tax authority's rules

6. Ownership

• Your data: You own all quotes, invoices, and customer data you create
• The service: OFFIX and its software belong to us

7. Limitation of Liability

OFFIX is provided "as is". We are not responsible for:

• Financial damage resulting from incorrect AI-generated quotes/invoices
• Downtime or data loss (although we do our best to prevent it)
• Third-party service availability (OpenAI, Apple, Supabase)

Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the last 12 months.

8. Cancellation

• You can cancel your account at any time
• Upon cancellation, you retain access for the remainder of your billing period
• See section 11 for our data retention and deletion policy
• You are responsible for exporting and archiving your documents before closing your account

9. Acceptable Use

You may not:

• Use the service for illegal purposes
• Attempt to circumvent payment or technical limitations
• Share your account with unauthorized users
• Reverse-engineer or copy the service

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes shall be resolved by the Stockholm District Court.

11. Data Storage and Your Responsibility

OFFIX is an invoicing tool — not an accounting or archiving system. You are responsible for archiving your invoices and business documents in accordance with applicable laws in your country (e.g. the Swedish Bookkeeping Act requires 7 years of retention). We recommend that you regularly export your documents (PDF, CSV).

• When you cancel your subscription, OFFIX retains your data for 90 days (grace period) with read-only access, so you can download and export everything you need
• After 90 days, your account is archived for up to 24 months. During this period, you can reactivate your account and regain access to all your data
• After 24 months of inactivity, all data is permanently deleted
• You can request an export or deletion of your data at any time by contacting support

12. Limitation of Liability

• The service is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
• OFFIX does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the service or that it is free from errors. We offer no SLA (Service Level Agreement) guarantee.
• OFFIX is not liable for loss of data, lost profits, business interruption, or any other indirect damages arising from use of the service.
• OFFIX's total liability is in all circumstances limited to the amount you have paid to OFFIX during the preceding 12 months.
• You are solely responsible for backing up and exporting your documents on a regular basis.

13. Service Discontinuation

• OFFIX reserves the right to discontinue or materially change the service with at least 90 days' notice via email to registered users.
• During the notice period, you have full access to export all your documents, invoices, quotes, and customer records.
• In the event of discontinuation, any unused subscription time will be refunded proportionally.
• After the notice period expires, all data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our data retention policy.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. For material changes, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance via email or in the app.
